BIGGER were lead agency for the second year of The North Face® Mountain Festival.
Design and build a festival site nestled on a valley floor between two 100m towering limestone rock walls. A festival infrastructure of 8 geodesic domes, some spanning over 25 metres, that house dining areas, activity zones, a live stage, and cinema.
Set in UNESCO world heritage site Lauterbrunnen, the festival celebrates sport. By day attendees were in the mountains pushing their bodies to the limit, cheered on by their flown-in hero athletes. By night they fed their souls with great food, music and stories of adventure.
Content was shared, uploaded and broadcast through Facebook as The North Face® utilised their main page to channel participants and fans to live the festival via the event page. Creative production and working with great artists was key in designing a festival that people wanted to photograph. The huge organic digital amplification of the festival was credit to this.
